Sommer 2025: Ceramic painting and more in LOEB-Showcase

From 29 July to 15 August 2026, Fenêtre à l'art will once again be taking up residence in Loeb’s shop window – with fantastic workshops on ceramic painting and lots of new products. Book your place!

If it was not possible for you to travel far away this summer. Join us on a journey through the world of ceramics! A journey that will take you to faraway lands and introduce you to the many facets of this ancient art form.

This year, we are exhibiting pieces from Mexico, Ukraine, Japan and Portugal throughout the season. You’ll also learn the traditional decorative techniques used in each of these countries.

As in previous years, we are also offering workshops on painting ceramics and modelling, where you can design and paint your own clay objects, as well as the chance to paint your own fabric bag!

No prior experience is required to take part in our workshops; the techniques can be learnt by young and old alike.

Choose from the workshops on offer, where you can learn new techniques, deepen your knowledge or enjoy a moment of creative relaxation.

WHAT DOES A WORKSHOP INCLUDE?

5 offers to choose from in the LOEB-Showcase (Spitalgasse 47-51, 3001 Bern)

Ceramic painting 8 different workshops: 1.5-hour workshop, including the ceramics of your choice from the range* offered in the shop window during this period (1 ceramic per person**), introduction, colours, glaze, firing and a drink per person.

Clay modelling: 2-hour workshop, including all necessary materials**, introduction, glazing in transparent glaze, firing and a drink per person. From 14 years old.

Kintsugi: 1.5-hour workshop, including all necessary materials**, an introduction and one drink per person. Ages 14 and over.

Mosaic craft: 2-hour workshop, including all necessary materials**, an introduction and one drink per person. Ages 14 and over.

Textile painting: 1.5-hour workshop, including 1 fabric bag (1 bag per person**), introduction, colours, ironing and a drink per person.

PROGRAMME OVERVIEW

The workshops will take place at the following times:

Tuesday and Thursday mornings only with reservation. All other days with or without reservation.

You can register for the workshops online or simply come spontaneously 10 minutes before the time the workshops start, subject to availability.

Free ceramic painting is possible at any time during opening hours, depending on space availability.

WHO WE ARE?

Fenêtre à l'art was born in 2010 as an art project. The aim of the project was to awaken people's creativity and promote collaboration and sociability between people through the creation of collective works.
With the same aim in mind, the project was transformed into a limited company in 2022 to open an art studio, a unique place where people (artists or not) can come to express their ideas and discover new forms of expression and exchange through ceramic painting.
